the mouse doesnt' have the plague ....... nor ebola .......
and I put the trap into a plastic bag first before tossing it
into the freezer ....
why are people so prone to knee jerk reactions over such things
? ....
it was staring at me pitifully .... I'd have let it go if I
could, but the body's stuck onto the sticky board liao ... so I
figured it's better I kill the mouse humanely than let my folks
drown it ....
I said some buddhist prayers for the poor mouse before I shut
the freezer lid ... when you're dispatching some hapless critter,
buddhism is more comforting ... you can reassure yourself that the
poor critter has a chance at rebirth to a better existence ....
How come YOU don't have a knee jerk reaction over such
things?! Most people
have a 'normal' behaviour, as opposed to 'abnormal' or 'deviant'
behaviour! 
I wouldn't even know what to do with a mouse caught in a
mousetrap because I've never had to face this scenario.
